***LA Kings @ Dallas Stars GDT 3/16/24 5:00pm on BSW***

Well, just started watching out drinking martinis with friends should’ve just stayed out. Couldn’t watch last night’s game. See ya Tuesday on my birthday
 
What the Sharks did to the Kings years ago, the Stars are now doing a similar performance against LA this season. And it's not a surprise what with DeBoer as the coach for Dallas. Man, do I hate that guy. To me, he seems to be the Kings killer whenever he coaches his teams against LA.
 
It's weird how we go through eras where certain teams just have each others numbers. Dallas has been our kryptonite for a while.

DeBoer is the constant for that. Whenever his teams he ever coached for square off against the Kings, he manages to tailor his system that almost always seem to work against LA. As I said before, he's considered the Kings killer for years. I dread having to see his teams face off against the Kings whenever their games are scheduled to play. The only time the Kings got the best of DeBoer in the highest point for LA during DeBoer's career was during the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals when his Devils lost to the Kings in 6 games en route to the Kings' first Stanley Cup victory.
 
2nd period is over. The DeBoer-led Stars seem content to sit comfortably on their lead against LA. The Kings have not had an answer for Dallas after 40 minutes. Glad this will be the last game the Kings will play against Dallas this season. If LA were to ever face Dallas in the playoffs, Dallas will pulverize them with ease.
 
Kings looked a bit better at the end of the 2nd, but Dallas always comes back and wins those board battles. Kings also have so many passes that don't connect and instead Dallas clears the puck easily.

Yeah, but I did not insinuate that the actual game is over. I said 2nd period is over. I'm aware there's still 20 more minutes of game time until the actual game is over. If you're expecting a miracle Kings comeback like the Miracle on Manchester or Frenzy in Figueroa, well, keep praying to your heart's content. Until then, results are results.
 
We've come back from this situation against the Stars once before in the past! We can do it!!
