2nd period has come to a close. After LA had been dictating the pace for most of the period, the Oilers surge back to tie it as the Kings eventually eased up and took an untimely penalty. I said it earlier: the Oilers are now exploiting the absence of Anderson and have found a way to score on the PP. It just took them several minutes to figure it out. LA better not let Edmonton take control of the 3rd period or things will get ugly.

great point. Moverare was caught in no man’s land on the Oilers PP goal. Glued to McDavid (?) and unable to get close to Draisaitl. Anderson probably doesn’t allow the man in the high slot that much freedom specifically because he’s open for the tip.
