LA Kings Festival (meet the players) 2025

It was great. I was 3rd in Line for Mikey and Forsberg, then went to Turcotte/Moore which took about 20 minutes, then decided to buy a pass for Clarke/Dumoulin. Daughter waited well over an hour for Kopi and about 45 minutes for Fiala. Wife was third in line for Q and waited about 20 minutes for Laff. Everything went smooth for us, got lots of autographs and pics, and pretty much every player was engaging. Clarke is a nice kid. Appreciated that I had his jersey and that I thought he had a significant role in the future of the Kings. Moore and Dumoulin looked like they would rather be anywhere else.
Buying passes?! How much were they charging? o_o I mean, I assume the money went to Kings Care but still.

$50 per for an extra line. We waited WAY too long to get Kopi's line and I would say we were in the front half of the line. It moved rediculously slow and there were a lot of people behind us by the time we got to him. By the time we did get to him I am pretty sure he was over it. We also while waiting 2 of us were able to get through 14/37's line and 96/43's line. Kuz was really awesome to my 7 year old and I asked Movarare who the hardest play to play against was- picked Mackinnon over McDavid. 1A and 1B :-).

All in all great event- I would skip the big name guy next year if I can. way too long of a line

This is not the kind of thing everyone enjoys. I didn't want to be there and I'm just a fan. If I was a player, I'd definitely want to be anywhere else.
I seem to recall a very old post on here or HFBoards about some hockey genius who took his autograph moment to instruct Patrick O’Sullivan about going to the front of the net if he wanted to score more goals.

Can’t understand why some players don’t love these types of events…

Trevor Moore was super-nice to my 4 year old granddaughter. Clarke was awesome, Dumoulin definitely did NOT want to be there. (both my daughter and myself had the same experience with him separately) Or else he's just really, really shy.

Mallot seemed super cool, and he was with Fiala who is always nice - that seemed to be a fun line - I did not have a ticket for that line, but they were next to Clarke & Dumoulin so I could see them interacting, and my daughter had a great experience with both of them.

Best part of the event was FREE FOOD! And not just a hot dog....I got a whole personal pizza & a soda from Fresh Brothers (it's good!) and my daughter & granddaughter got chicken nuggets & fries from Salt & Char. So like $75 worth of free food (so, really like $20 worth in the real world).

I was disappointed there were no alumni there other than Foxy & Daryl. I have an old Game Night magazine that I want Luc to sign at some point (he's on the cover). Did not see him anywhere all day.

We were in line and got pizza just before they ran out...said they weren't expecting the demand. Didn't have to wait too long though as they were cranking them out.

Was bummed about the alumni thing as well. For the 50th, they had both Rogie and Marcel which was great finally getting to meet those legends. They also allowed us into the locker room in previous visits, would have been cool to see the new locker room this year. I guess I'll have to wait for paint the ice again.
