***LA Kings @ Minnesota Wild GDT 10/14/22 5:00pm on BSW***

This has been like a whole game in one period! and I didn't even see the first 10 minutes!

Vilardi is sooo good. I'm so glad he was able to work through whatever all his issues were. I was sure he was gonna get traded over the summer. Thank goodness Rob Blake is much smarter than I am, at least when it comes to hockey trades.

Nice that Vilardi is getting more ice time. Kings lucky that they're playing a team that is playing like them.

The Kings goaltending looks like a disaster but this game has been such a pleasure to watch through 1. Vilardi looks like he might be for real and if you want to see the evolution of Byfield’s game already look at the board pressure he applied on that Vilardi goal. His size, effort and hockey IQ created that goal out of what should have been a very simple breakout by the Wild player.

First off, ya gotta love the way Vilardi is playing. Scoring, creating turnovers etc. Fun to watch him play.

Second, the stupid turnovers have to stop

Third, the PP is looking good

Massive improvement on the PP. Looks like a completely different team from last season.

The only thing I have to nitpick at times is that they don't need the extra extra pass. Just shoot the damn thing. But with that said, good job on finally moving the puck the way it should be moved.

If Gabe and QB can develop together at the same rate, lookout.

Not sure if you caught it, but he mentioned making the conscious decision to stay home this summer and focus on being ready for the season. And said he was only going to concern himself with things under his control. Since then, there have been a number of quotes in regard to his positive attitude. So yeah, not sure what was the catalyst specifically, but its been a real pleasure to see this guy address the issues that were maybe holding him back the last coupel seasons. kudos to him and it has been an absolute pleasure to see him starting to emerge. This is exactly what we were all hoping for.

Kopi passed up a shot right in the slot. I mean, how perfect a spot to shoot from?

DD has this red mark on his chest after the Wild guy's stick hit him.

Maybe I'm being over critical but, looks to me like Kopi should consider retiring.

wow, the Kings dodged a bullet there - refs missed the call on the DOG, but they also missed the TMM, so at least it evened out
