***LA Kings @ Nashville Predators GDT 1/31/24 4:30pm on TNT, max, & BSW***

TO with a nice defensive play at the Nashville attacking zone blue line to break up a Nashville play that could have resulted in a goal.
 
sheesh....there's already been my entrie annual salary's worth of broken sticks in this game!
 
Very entertaining game! Glad I made it back in time for this one. Turcotte looks great, and Dave's living up to his nickname.

All-in-all we're playing pretty well...we look like a different team than we did the last few games.
 
End of 2nd. It looked like Nashville was going to get a goal but refs saw there was goalie interference courtesy of Todd's challenge. Meanwhile, Turcotte scores his first career NHL goal as a welcoming gift. Also, Big Save Dave still holding his ground to keep the Preds off the scoresheet for now. The Kings better not resort to the usual defensive shell in the 3rd period as they cannot afford to have another unwanted choke job.
