Anderson earlier had the puck bounce off him that would have resulted in a very costly turnover if not for Anderson who quickly rushed back to the center of the defending zone and made a timely defensive play. Sheesh, that was close.

1st period is now over. They're playing better than they did in Buffalo, now that Arvidsson is back in the lineup. With LA's players back to their natural lines, they're showing some improvement compared to the last game. Still, this is an uphill climb and LA better keep this play going in the next two periods.
