***LA Kings @ Pittsburgh Penguins GDT 12/17/24 4:00pm on FanDuel***

I like Crosby
Folded Hills, Epiphany, Fess Parker and Zaca Mesa were our go to’s if anyone wants recommendations. As far as hockey crap!!! Get this in OT
I’ve heard of two of those and had one. Appreciate the recommendations - we’re overdue for another visit there.

Sad to just get a point but could be sadder after that third. Bounce back in the next two and it’s a real good trip.

I'll take a point out of this game based on how bad the Kings played. I was worried they would get 0.

I'm still kinda pissed about it...thought we had it won in regulation...but it could be worse. Kuemper made some amazing saves. Danault did not have a good game.

As for wine tasitng in Los Olivos, we also like Carhartt on Grand. Family run, not snobby, with a real nice quaint patio. Their Tempranillo is excellent and reasonably priced.

I didn't follow the game, but saw the final and it felt anticlimactic.

But after reading this thread, I feel like we are lucky that they got to OT, so my mood is better, haha.

Thanks peeps! :cheers :bearhug:

The Kings had the lead twice this game and squandered them both. This is what pisses me off the most. Awful 3rd period and OT, I do expect to lose but giving up the lead twice is unacceptable in my book. The Pens are not Vegas and or Edmonton.

I’m done, where’s the Tylenol. And I almost bet the Kings tonight, however, I was at Crypto last season when they lost in OT to the Pens. Couldn’t take the risk

Congratulations to the following posters who correctly guessed the over 30 club would combine for 8 points:

Well those 2 first shifts were sure something? Kuemper stole a point after that. Maybe Crosby saw some of those posts saying that Kopi is a better player than him at 37 now and took it personally. I don't know if I'd call it an intense game but the penguins were very serious about it. Still 5 of 8 points and on the other side of the hill for this trip. Lets just hope its not all downhill from here.

I'll tell you one thing; I won't watch the Kings until next game. They better beat Philly, that are playing tonight in Detroit and play the Kings tomorrow night.

No excuses, play like a playoff team that drops out after the first round.

Also are we the only or one of two teams left without an OT win or something (I may have invented that stat?)? Damn.
Here's a solution...I know it's way out there in terms of ideas but here goes: Next time...try winning the game in regulation.

I know that's a wild suggestion but there it is.

The Kings better win in Philly or this trip might end up a disaster...I just don't see them winning in Nash or Wash.

Nashville is terrible....if we can't beat them....(oh wait....it's the "Play Down to the Competition Kings")

Sid tried his best to will the Penguins to a playoff spot last year. The East is very tight for playoff spots right now as the separation between the good and the average teams is minimal. Penguins entered the game 6-1.

NSH beat NYR though. They could be turning it around. No one beats that team.
