Week three of the 2025-26 Prospect Tracker featured the debut of Rivalry Week in the Ontario Hockey League, bringing the heat with back-to-back matchups that intensified competition. Stellar goaltending produced shutouts from Kings prospects in both junior and college hockey, while the European kids drew attention as World Junior Championship candidates. The following reports cover games played through the end of day Sunday, October 19th.

Ontario Hockey League (OHL)

Henry Brzustewicz, London Knights, RH Defenseman (31st overall in 2025)

2025-26 Stats: 4 goals, 3 assists, minus-5, 11 PIM in 8 games played

In the OHL’s most intense rivalry, Brzustewicz recorded a Gordie Howe hat trick across a back-to-back set with Kitchener. Friday’s 6-1 London victory saw 25 combined penalties and misconducts, with Brzustewicz setting up London’s third goal on a breakout feed from below the goal line. Saturday’s rematch turned physical early, as he dropped the gloves just 17 seconds into the game, then scored a power play one-timer in a 3-2 overtime win.

Jan Chovan, Sudbury Wolves, Center/Right Wing (184th overall in 2025)

2025-26 Stats: 2 goals, 0 assists, minus-8, 0 PIM in 9 games played

Chovan netted his second goal of the season on Saturday, positioning himself in front of the crease to bury a rebound for Sudbury’s lone tally in a 3-1 loss to Sault Ste. Marie. He generated three high-danger shots on four attempts, yet Sudbury dropped both games and remains in last place in the OHL with just two wins in 11 games.

Carter George, Owen Sound Attack, Goalie (57th overall in 2024)

2025-26 Stats: 2.84 GAA, .911 SV%, 1 SO, 1 assist, 5 wins in 7 games played

George earned OHL first star of the night honors Wednesday after posting a 29-save shutout in a 6-0 victory over Barrie. Saturday’s contest against Guelph started poorly when Owen Sound’s defense turned the puck over on the power play, leading to a shorthanded goal against. Despite George flashing strong glove work and making 29 saves, the game ended in a 6-3 loss. Owen Sound trails Windsor by three points for the top spot and will face them Friday at 4 p.m. PT on FloHockey TV.

Liam Greentree, Windsor Spitfires, Right Wing (26th overall in 2024)

2025-26 Stats: 4 goals, 4 assists, minus-1, 7 PIM in 5 games played

LA’s top prospect returned from his three-game suspension Saturday and recorded two points in Windsor’s back-to-back with Sarnia. He opened the scoring by threading the puck through a defender’s legs before firing a wrist shot top shelf. In the third period, Greentree recovered his own rebound and fed a cross-crease pass for a power play goal that tied the game; however, Sarnia scored twice in the closing minutes to win 5-3. Windsor split the series and remains atop the OHL standings.

2025-26 Stats: 0 goals, 9 assists, plus-4, 12 PIM in 8 games played

Jared Woolley, London Knights, LH Defenseman (164th overall in 2024)

2025-26 Stats: 4 goals, 5 assists, plus-3, 15 PIM in 8 games played

Passing the puck worked for Woolley this week, as he notched a pair of power play assists in the two-game series against Kitchener. The first came Friday, when he slowed down, stretched the defense, and created time and space for his teammate to score. Saturday, he had the helper on Brzustewicz’s goal, quarterbacking from the point in the closing seconds of the man advantage. Even though they’ve won five straight contests, London sits eighth in the OHL.

Western Hockey League (WHL)

Will Sharpe, Kelowna Rockets, LH Defenseman (216th overall in 2025)

2025-26 Stats: 2 goals, 5 assists, minus-3, 2 PIM in 7 games played

Sharpe broke through offensively this week, recording his first two goals of the season along with an assist during Kelowna’s three-game stretch. Both tallies came from the top of the left circle, firing shots to the top-right corner on the power play. Despite his production, the Rockets went 0-2-1 on the week and sit 17th in the WHL with a 3-5-1 record.

COLLEGE HOCKEY (NCAA)

Ryan Conmy, Boston College, Right Wing (182nd overall in 2023)

2025-26 Stats: 2 goals, 0 assists, plus-2, 2 PIM in 4 games played

Conmy was held off the scoresheet Friday in BC’s 5-1 win against RPI, yet tallied two shots. The right winger continues to see action on the Eagles first power play unit, which ranks second nationally, converting on 43 percent of its opportunities. BC remains ranked No. 9 in this week’s rankings.

Kristian Epperson, Univ. of Denver, Left Wing (88th overall in 2025)

2025-26 Stats: 0 goals, 1 assist, plus-2, 0 PIM in 4 games played

Denver split a back-to-back set with Lindenwood, falling 4-3 Friday before bouncing back with a 4-0 shutout win Saturday. Epperson wasn’t as active offensively, going pointless while recording two shots on goal across the series. Denver slipped to No. 7 in the national rankings and will play BC on Friday at 4 p.m. PT in a much-anticipated matchup between two of the nation’s top programs (available on ESPN+). BC also came into last year’s NCAA playoff regional as the top ranked team and were knocked out by Denver, so there’s plenty of recent animosity.

2025-26 Stats: 1 goal, 1 assist, minus-2, 4 PIM in 4 games played

Herrington recorded an assist off the opening faceoff of a power play in Vermont’s 2-1 overtime win against St. Cloud State on Friday. The Catamounts dropped Saturday’s rematch 4-0, with Herrington finishing the back-to-back series with one shot on four attempts. Vermont is 2-1 on the season.

Brendan McMorrow, Univ. of Denver, Left Wing (196th overall in 2025)

2025-26 Stats: 0 goals, 0 assists, even plus-minus, 0 PIM in 2 games played

McMorrow made his collegiate debut Friday against Lindenwood after recovering from an upper-body injury. After limited minutes in the opener, he was promoted to the first line Saturday and tallied five shots across the doubleheader. Not a bad start for a freshman getting his first taste of college hockey.

James Reeder, Univ. of Denver, Right Wing (198th overall in 2024)

2025-26 Stats: 0 goals, 1 assist, even plus-minus, 0 PIM in 4 games played

Hampton Slukynsky, Western Michigan Univ., Goalie (118th overall in 2023)

Slukynsky picked up a pair of wins against UMass Lowell this past weekend, stopping 17 in Friday’s 2-1 victory before posting his first shutout of the season Saturday. The 19-save performance in a 6-0 win earned him third star honors as the Broncos’ penalty kill improved to 92 percent. Western Michigan held at No. 2 in this week’s rankings and faces the nation’s top offense, Michigan, this coming Thursday at 4 p.m. PT on the Big Ten Network (DirecTV channel 610).

Jack Sparkes, Clarkson Univ., RH Defenseman (180th overall in 2022)

2025-26 Stats: 0 goals, 0 assists, minus-1, 2 PIM in 4 games played

After upsetting Penn State last week, Clarkson has struggled since, dropping their second straight game with a 6-2 loss to RIT on Saturday. Sparkes recorded one shot on goal on three attempts. Clarkson holds a 1-3 record this season.

EUROPEAN LEAGUES

Vojtech Cihar, Czechia-HC Energie Karlovy Vary, Forward (59th overall in 2025)

2025-26 Stats: 1 goal, 2 assists, minus-2, 8 PIM in 16 games played

Czech hockey scout Honza Zoufal projects Cihar as a first-line option for Team Czechia at the upcoming World Junior Championship. The two-way forward recorded one shot this week, as Karlovy Vary snapped a three-game losing streak with a 3-0 win on Friday before falling 5-3 Sunday. Karlovy Vary has an 8-6-1 record, ninth in Czechia.

Petteri Rimpinen, Liiga-Kiekko-Espoo, Goalie (152nd overall in 2025)

2025-26 Stats: 2.62 GAA, .899 SV%, 0 SO, 4 wins in 11 games played

Rimpinen picked up a pair of 4-3 shootout wins this week, stopping 62 shots across the two games. The Finnish netminder is considered a top contender for Team Finland’s World Junior Championship roster, but when asked about the tournament by the Finnish paper Jatkoaika, he emphasized staying in the moment: “I haven’t actually thought about it at all yet.” Kiekko-Espoo holds fourth place in Liiga, five points behind first.
