2nd period comes to a close. The Guppies still were able to get their one-goal lead back even after LA managed to tie the game earlier. Defensive breakdowns by LA are affecting them at the most inopportune times. LA had better clean up their act and come back in the 3rd period.

I confess I watched the Ducks game last night. It was very entertaining. Lotsa talent in Anaheim plus a legendary coach and a smart GM.

Those are throwbacks from their late 2000s era. Considering the questionable use of silver and black striping on their main teal background, it clashes with the design and comes off as rather ugly. The silver color alone really does not mesh well with teal.

The Sharks have handled their rebuild flawlessly. No real missteps yet. Yes they got a bit lucky but they’ve taken advantage of their fortunate bounces. They’re going to be fighting it out with the Ducks for tops in the Pacific very soon.
