I have to give Hiller some credit. With Moore coming back into the lineup, he could’ve scratched Ward or Malott. Instead he scratched Foegele & they stayed in the lineup. And they rewarded that faith in them with a goal. Also he’s finally learning that Clarke should start OT & be one of the top 3 shooters. It probably helped that Clarke was a +2 & Doughty was a -2. I don’t want to pile on Doughty. But he’s clearly not the player he once was. And Clarke is clearly better. We need to see Doughty-Anderson broken up & put Mikey with Clarke on the 1st pair. For this defense, Doughty’s a 2nd pair D man. For a good defense he’d be a 3rd pair or a healthy scratch.

Condolences to Guinevere and TooCool as they were the only posters to not get a point on the question. Kings look good against last place teams, but still giving up late goals with the prevent defense. Not sure what to do with that information yet. Got some snow to dig out while I ponder it.
