***LA Kings @ St. Louis Blues GDT 3/1/25 >>5:00pm<< on KCAL Ch9***

4-1 Blues. Oh, please. Another 3rd period breakdown for LA. Rittich is Swiss cheese in net; he's becoming like Jeff Zatkoff during his tenure with LA back in the 16-17 season.

It's funny how Rittich performed like early era Martin Jones last season and now he's morphed into Jeff Zatkoff this season.

And now a Kings penalty. Great.

Rittich's been terrible but so have the Kings.

It's laughable now. I hope they get buried by a score of 7-1. Just embarrass this weak team. No heart, no desire. At this point they can trade whomever, and it will be OK.

The worst part is we'll trade nobody and lose in 3 to the Oilers.

If I am Kempe’s agent, I am asking Blake to make Juice available for a trade to get a shot at a Cup. He is wasting his talents on the Kings. This roster is not good enough to stay patient.

Only player I care about on this roster.

Okie dokie, I'm checking out. I've seen enough. I don't know if the entire team got the flu again or what the hell is going on, but this whole group is shakier than the 6.3 earthquake.

The weakness and softness of this team starts with the captain Kopi and ends with the captain Kopi. No doubts about it. Sure, there are other players in the team responsible for their sub-par performances but none have disappointed more than captain Kopi. He might as well go out with a whimper by retiring after this season.

Don’t know what the Kings gonna do at first line center. Byfield has yet to show he’s ready even in this game and Kopi can’t play at that position anymore.

Like I said last night, all you can hope for is not getting hurt. That's the only win they can achieve tonight.

That's a pretty bold statement and, IMO, completely wrong. The failure of this collection of players is not Kopitars fault.

Sorry, but Kopi is still partly to blame for this failure mainly in the second half of this season. Though the Kings are not out of the playoff race yet, I have little to no faith in his uninspiring leadership style as captain of this Kings team. He looks even slower than before. If the Kings even make the playoffs again this season, I can already foresee another first round exit. You can hold on to your faith in him as much as you folks want. I'm not moved; he's really past his prime.

This is another guaranteed scheduled loss for LA, and I even said it yesterday after LA's loss to Dallas last night. Well, part of that is Rittich's really shaky performance in net.
