End of 1st period. It could have been so much worse but at least the game remains scoreless for now. And LA was lucky to win an offsides challenge to nullify what could been a Whatevers goal earlier; plus Kuemper was holding the fort stopping 16 Utah SOGs. But time to rise and shine for the next two periods, LA; this is not Denver you're facing here so don't give us the altitude issues excuse for your terribly lethargic start in the 1st period.

What the hell is up with our Kings tonight? Dd they stop in Vegas on the way to Salt Lake last night?
early in the period they were saying that the Kings are the ONLY team to have zero regulation losses when scoring at least 3 goals....was that referring to playoff teams? Or all teams for the whole season?

The Whatevers are playing like they really have nothing to lose in order to get a WC playoff spot. The Kings continue to be lethargic this period and they're letting Kuemper get exposed in net, which is not a good sign.
