He really does. He's been great since returning to the lineup but he needs to burn tonight's tape. He was awful.
I'm really worried about them getting enough rest before the playoffs - they are starting on Saturday the 19th - just 2 days after our make up game. Hopefully we won't play until Monday the 21st?

Three months ago when I bought my AC/DC tickets for the Rose Bowl on Friday, April 18th (my birthday), my first thought was "Please God, don't let me miss a Kings playoff game!"
Sometimes prayers are answered.
In a perfect world, I'd go to the Rose Bowl on Friday and a Kings playoff game on Saturday.
It's a long shot, but that scenario is still in play........

Sounds like a great time at the Rose Bowl. Enjoy! If the Kings continue to be on the pace for home ice advantage I would say the first game would be the 20th (Easter Sunday). The last game is scheduled for the 17th so they normally give 2-3 days off between the end of season and first playoff game. Not saying it won't be the 19th, but my money is on the 20th.

So did we play the Phoenix Jazz? I thought they were called the Salt Lake Soakers. Anyway great 20 minute effort for the win. That 1st goal was pretty crazy. I didn’t see the 1st star but it had to be Kuemper. However it happened, I’m glad we got the win. Now on to the biggest game of the season. Beating Winnipeg & Washington was great. But nothing will compare to beating Edmonton. At least in the regular season.

I disagree. I don't want this team to get overconfident before the inevitable Edmonton series. They can lose for all I care, let it be the last wake-up call before the Playoffs, make them work for that home ice advantage until the end and be prepared for the Oilers. No days off allowed.
Edmonton will play without McJesus and Drai against us this game and I hope the Kings win a hard-fought battle against them so they don't get the wrong impression.
The shenanigans have begun. Both Drai and McJesus will now be conveniently rested before the playoffs...let the karma work against them.

I’ve been looking forward to Saturday’s game since I bought my ticket a month ago. I sure hope the Kings saved a home win for me. I’m driving out early tomorrow morning from Arizona. I woke up early this so morning so I get to bed early tonight. Woo hoo! I can’t wait!

Absolutely stole 2 points in a trap game. Darcy deserves all the praise for keeping them in it. Fiala and Moore get a ton of credit for cashing in on golden opportunities. Not to be mean to Malott but that's the reason he's a 4th line grinder and Fiala is getting paid what he is. It's great work when Jeff can take a puck to the slot for a 1-1 chance, Fiala gets that opportunity and the expectation is a goal. He buried it and Moore buried his opportunity and away they went. I do think the 4th line continued to be valuable and useful in their limited minutes. For the first 40 they were possibly the most effective line, which sadly said more about the other lines and how they were figuring out Utah's work in the neutral zone. A win is a win and now we all look to Saturday.

They have played a lot of hockey the last 3 years.
If we do play them, we need to physically punish them every shift.
They are not the same team and neither are we.
The goonery will continue but we can now match it, unlike Todd's passive, ahem, pussified approach.
Will need to keep discipline, of course.
I'm very curious to watch Hiller coach a series. I think he's a solid coach who (hopefully) won't freeze up
or refuse to make changes when needed like Todd did.
This Kings team has a different mentality and it's because of him.
