I don’t think I want him back. I speculated way back during the Olympics when he was injured that his injury situation just might be addition by subtraction. I’m sticking with that, especially now that these lines have all started to gel and look like real line combos.

We’re seeing too many forwards finally look like themselves to draw any conclusion except the awful play to start the season was due to Hiller. DJ has taken the handcuffs off and these guys are finally showing some offensive skills.

Been waiting a long time for QB to play this assertive and aggressive.

He couldn't have timed it better with the playoffs starting this week.

I think he's played the best hockey of his career the last few weeks.

I’m not ready to eat crow just yet about Byfield, but lately he has looked like he did in spurts the previous two seasons when his game came alive. He needs to find this level of play consistently, and whether it’s from being paired with straight line players, or the coaching change, we need -this- Byfield to show up at least 70 games a season, not 40.
