If the Ducks win thier game vs the Preds on Nashville and the Oilers get atleast a point vs Vancouver then no playing Calgary doesn’t matter.On the other hand,the Ducks lose in regulation or only get a point in their game,the Oilers lose their game in regulation,and Kings win their game,then the Kings would have home ice vs the Oilers,and the Ducks would be in the WC2 spot and playing the Avs in the first round

I get it, natural letdown after clinching but Kuemper + OT = OTL. Proven over and over. If Kuemper comes off the pine in the playoffs, Kings chance to advance go from poor to nada.

I was like, let's dress Panarin in goalie gear and take our chances with him over Kuemper in this OT.

I'll give the Kings credit for making a run to get into the playoffs.

I watched the Colorado vs Vegas game on Saturday night and realized, the Kings could not beat either team and will get swept by Colorado. Even with Forsberg playing his best, Colorado will score 3-5 goals a game. The most the Kings will score will be 2. Colorado's speed will decimate the Kings.

Shocking loss in OT to the worst team in the NHL. I guess the Kings really really do not want to face Edmonton again.

Given the AVS are the alternative, its like choosing to get hit by a train to avoid going to the dentist.

We can blame Darcy, however, the Kings defense was atrocious tonight. And the players on the ice in OT were terrible.

If there is ever a statue of Doughty at Staples, it will be of him laying face down in front of the net, spread eagle as an opponent scores. Sadly, this is how I will remember him.

I am happy for Kopi, he has 3 more road games and two home games left in his incredible career.

Kopi will most likely be at the end of the handshake line, so give him a standing ovation, as he skates for the last time toward the tunnel. What a great 20 year run.
