GDT ***LA Kings @ Vegas Golden Knights GDT 3/9/25 5:00pm on Fanduel***

Cardiac Kings emerge again! What a nail biter. I have noise voice and a major headache. All so worth it to finally see my boys live! And to top it off, I got to meet Byfield and he signed my jersey. Woo hoo! Now, the drive back home!

that's amazing!! so glad you had such a great time!

I have not read through the entirety of the comments, so if someone else pointed this out already forgive me, but has anyone else noticed that, for the second consecutive game, Clarke has lost his stick in the defensive zone, and none of his forwards have offered him their stick?

Seriously, Rittich has more holes in net than Swiss Cheese and the Kings managed to win this one in spite of his performance. Call up the Pheonix, he needs to take up Rittich's place at this point now. Rittich is now the new Jeff Zatkoff, unfortunately.
And since the market for back-up goalies was completely dead this trade deadline and teams couldn’t give them away for free, why didn’t Blake swing a deal for a new goalie? Because unfortunately Rittich isn’t very good…

But still, LOVE beating that fake Vegas team!!

the Rittich/Kuemper duo is good enough to get us to Round 1, and then I assume they'll ride Darcy all the way.

I've been thinking same thing, I love BSD but he's not living it up to the name this year. Where's Phoenix?! Still concerned about DK getting us far but Phoenix needs to rise from the ashes!!!!

Watching the game replay now, Juice is so sweet! Glad Kings won, just concerning letting in 5 goals :(

Other than Red Light Rittich (not sure who posted that here, but I LOL'd), and despite some other glaring blunders, there was also some amazing individual skill plays on display from our boys tonight.

Shooting high seems to be a new coaching talking point.

And yes, can we just make Clarke a forward already?

Why are all of the highlights not posted here...? That's something I miss, all of the highlights.

That was me, also Big Sieve Dave. I had a lot of free time on my hands.

That's awesome - did you run into him just walkin around? Only player I ever met at Staples was Ken Belanger sitting next to us in the stands during a game lol.

I have actually - I think it's been many times/games. Not sure it's always Clarke but almost never see the stick passed unless it's like Kopi to Dewy or Anderson.

As mentioned I had my own game last night so I only saw about 5 minutes of the first and caught the rest of the first on the radio. Sounded like the best first period in forever. Then to open the second with a quick goal I wasn't worried about the game when I shut it off to suit up. Sounds like i missed a solid pucker factor of an 8 by the end of it. Still 4 points out of a b2b against the division leading team after a 5 game losing streak is nothing to sneeze at. One note the radio was highly praising Kuzmenko's work on the third goal, not on the scoresheet but an effective forecheck prior. That was good to hear.

I was also out yesterday and thankfully this game was on ESPN710 in my car. I know it’s old school but I wish all the games were still on AM.

Rittich, Rittich, Rittich. 6-4 LA. I swear he's gone full Jeff Zatkoff in his performance in net not just tonight but this season. Seriously, the Kings need to call up Copley at this point now.

I read somewhere that Copley is out injured for at least the next few weeks.

take that, Clarke haters! Whoo hoooo!!!

I have been a Clarke "doubter" since the beginning, and last night as he drove to the puck and then the net, I was shaking my head that he had left his point unprotected. But upon replay, I saw that Kempe was behind him at the blue line minding the store, so I humbly eat crow (at least for now).

Just watched an abbreviated replay of last night's game, which I seldom do. I think my favorite play was Edmundson and Foegele smoking Eichel at the blue line with 25 seconds left. Huge play.

The Kings were more physical last night, but man, the size difference bewteen LA and Vegas is vast.

But skill and speed beat size last night.

However the question remains: Come playoff time, can the Kings keep up the physical play for a seven game series?
