***LA Kings vs. Dallas Stars GDT 2/7/25 7:30pm on FanDuel***

Hope Blake uses the 4 Nations break to pull a right shot rabbit out of his hat to play with Kopi and Juice for the stretch run. Okay… I can dream…

No it’s not. And on that note, all I can think about these last three games is Faber.
One thing this game illustrates is how the Kings are almost totally dependent on Kuemper.
It’s a little scary, but also kind of awesome to have a bit of an ace again. But pace is a concern.
Holy Moly! What a game Kings fanatics! Great way to battle back and get the win. Loved Rittich after save on Duchene. Keep the home streak going boys. We have lots of home games left! Go Kings Go!
Incredibly fun game. The poetry of winning after the leads given up and the overturned OT goal is just too good. Some nights it hurts real bad, but nights like these it’s so easy to love this team. I love this team.

I swear I didn't cheat on the poll question!! Can't believe I got all 3 periods correct!

Soooo.....what a game! There was a guy behind me who was at his first game....we were all telling him that this isn't how it usually goes. The Crypt was rockin'! We need more Friday night games - different vibe than the Saturday night crowd for sure.

Huge win over a very good team! I'll see y'all here online tomorrow (well, later today, technically)

This was a great game. Which would’ve sucked if the Kings had lost it. But they came through with the win thanks to Fiala & Kempe. And even though Rittich wasn’t great, he was Big Save Dave when it counted. But Fiala is on an absolute tear. Which is great to see. As long as people are still pining for Faber, having him play well shows how it worked out for the Kings as well.

I’ve been thinking about this. He’s going to be a UFA, I believe. A trade is unlikely but what about signing him in the offseason? I still would prefer Rantanen & even Marner. But I’d take Vilardi back. Even if it ends up costing more in salary than if we’d just resigned him. And we didn’t lose all those other assets.

He'd probably break his hand signing the contract and be out six months.

Congratulations to the following posters who correctly guessed sog of 12, and/or 11, and/or 13 for the first through third periods respectively:

First 12 (1 point):
Rog or Reg?
Rogie-Vachon
SirJW
Drum4Pigs
Cross Traffic
Guinevere
dannybuoy1
rinkrat
kingsmen93
Nyssa42

Second 11 (1 point):
Rog or Reg?
DRGinLBC
HiFi
VCRW
Nyssa42
Liz4LA

Third 13 (1 point):
AngelEyes
Nyssa42

Congratulations to Nyssa for pulling all 3 points. That was a playoff type game against a legit Stanley cup opponent. Granted no Miro but both these teams wanted a result and it was heartening to see the effort. Tomorrow they better not sit on any laurels

And L.A. without Anderson. Give me Mikey, sit DD, and you have a more sound defensive team.

And that was 3 years ago... according to Eric Idle, you are looking the wrong way...
I needed to add a jokey face to my comment. Been going back and forth with one of the Faber hangers-on. It’s a gripe that will not die.

Oh but Oilers fans & media were complaining that McDavid wasn’t getting calls.

Which is why I hate Deadmonton; they're all a bunch of crybabies with a huge victim complex. Even among Canadians, that's just pathetic. Screw them. Even though Bostonians are also known to have an insecurity complex, at least the Bruins fans don't take it as far as Deadmontonians do. Then again, I'm not so sure.
