***LA Kings vs. Florida Panthers GDT 1/22/25 >>7:00pm<< on TNT, tru, & max***

While it's nice to see Juice continue to produce, the other Kings, especially QB, TO, Fiala, Danault, and Jeannot, have dried up offensively. That's still rather concerning for us fans as Juice can't be a one-man show for this team other than Kopi and Turc. We need to see more from them if the Kings want to make it to the playoffs once again. Oh, and their PP seriously needs readjustments from both units; Fiala has become a black hole on the PP recently and it's really hurting LA on that situation.

Jeannot had a great effort assist on Helly's goal.

Fiala got open for Clarkes pass and go it to Kempe for the win.

As boring as the game looked through the first two periods I credit the Kings hitting that wore the Panthers down by the 3rd.

The end had my heart racing! Whew! So glad the Kings pulled it off in the 3rd. We needed that win. Now, hopefully… Oilers lose two more without McDirty. Go King Go!!

Not sure Jeannot ever lubed up in the first place but substitute Fogle and it still applies. Looks like a finishing problem right now and not a chances problem, as they had some really good looks tonight.

Anyway, nice to get two points on a night where they really only played one good period. Super happy for Sammy, too.

I went to this game. There were a lot of empty seats in my section. I thought it was because of the early start but it never filled up. Which is good for me because I don’t like being crowded. Anyway the game was kind of slow in the 1st 2 periods. But they didn’t play badly. It was great seeing Helenius get his 1st goal. And Kempe continues to be phenomenal. He seems to be the only one who can create offense all by himself. Anyway, very happy for the win.

Pt. 1 -1 or 2
Pt. 2 - 10, 11 or 12

Thanks Susan!

Still fighting this nasty wind-driven sinus cold...but tonight I think I'll switch from NyQuil to Jack Daniels. Heck, they used whiskey for colds (and other ailments) 200 years ago, so it's good enough for me. Besides, watching this Kings team pretty much requires some form of libation. So it's a win-win situation!
Hope you feel better soon!
