USA Hockey rules specifically include "tripping" resulting in a player falling into the boards as "boarding." NHL rules only refer to "checking" a player.

Even with the 4 injuries to the forwards, this is still a good team.
 
those are the whitest goalie pads I've ever seen. (on Florida goalie, that is)
 
same guy who scored 1st on us in our last meeting. poop. only his 7th goal of the season, and 2 of them are against us

i dont think it was a boarding, but for argument's sake, lets say it was. A 5min boarding though?

Just clear the zone... any way you can. These cute plays are killing 'em!
 
When was the last time AI won a board battle? He is nowhere near the player he was 2 years ago before the injuries.

41.1 Boarding - A boarding penalty shall be imposed on any player who checks or pushes a defenseless opponent in such a manner that causes the opponent to hit or impact the boards violently or dangerously. The severity of the penalty, based upon the impact with the boards, shall be at the discretion of the Referee.

Maybe actual numbers have been discussed around here, but it feels like we always struggle in the 2nd period. Florida has a decent team so not just about this game. Also, we look like a different team on the road. I dunno what outcome is tonight, but we look tough to beat.
