***LA Kings vs. Minnesota Wild GDT 12/07/24 >>5:00pm<< on

Game over. Now that's a definitive win for LA. Too bad Kuemper failed to get a shutout thanks to the Kings lazing off after TO's initial ENG. Otherwise, a very solid victory for the team tonight. First, Winnipeg's win streak was cut short, and now Minnesota. Both by LA, thank you very much.

Another long, long road trip coming up for the Kings. The schedulers have not been kind this season. Their excellent record considering the schedule is even more impressive.

Was only 2 games but that was maybe a better week than any week all of last season, that amazing start to boot. Slayed a foe in DAL through sheer will and then dominated the best team in hockey playing exactly by the blueprint of how they need to to have success.

Last season, the Kings were playing well early on but hadn’t really beaten many strong teams. Not so this year, with wins over Winnipeg, Dallas, and now Minnesota all part of this 5 game win streak. Yes, all came at home, but still impressive.

Finally catching up, only able to watch the score on the NHL App towards the end tonight. All I can say is WAAA WAAA WEEE WAAA! Kings win and Kings wind huge! even with DK in goal I'm impressed. As mentioned long road trip, I'll feel better as we get into January with a few more wins. GO KINGS GO!!!!

So...we are officially 1/3 of the season in:

2nd place
16-8-3 record
Relatively healthy
A decent goalie tandem
Young talent making strides

I like our chances

All the talk of Byfield being the next Kopi, but did you see some of the backchecking by Juice this game?

He keeps that up we may need a new narrative about our next two way player.

I've been out of the loop for a month, but that was an amazing game to jump back on the train with.
