And even that was a schedule loss.Out of the top 6 teams in the league (by point %) the Kings have beaten 5 of them losing only to the Crapitals.
In which the Kings had atrocious puck luck as well. And even that was a schedule loss.
If they can add a scoring winger before the deadline I think everyone will have to accept that this team is ready for a real playoff run.The Kings record since the debacle in San Jose has been outstanding. On pace for another 100+ point season. At what point do we habitually skeptical fans think it’s safe to believe this is a very good team?

Yes and no. They had just as many, if not more grade A chances and missed, or they did not get the bounces. The final scoreboard tally is a bit misleading IMO. Either way, gotta love this teamBoy the Kings looked great today. If Turcott hits a couple nets it's a blow out. As it was the refs seemed like they had NY Eve hangovers.
Damn missed it by 1 second to get a point!Congratulations to the following posters who correctly guessed the game winning goal within +/- 2 mins or less of 6:23 of the second, nobody pegged Andre Lee with the first goal of the year:

Big congratulations again to Andre Lee for not only his first NHL goal, but his first NHL GWG! That was a tough game against a very tough team and the Kings found the right side of it. 8 straight wins at home is certainly something. Savor this point of the season, by points percentage the kings are 4th overall, 3rd in the west and 2nd in the Pacific and currently on a pace for a 109 point season. Then again they were also tops in the league last year and we know how all that turned out. Here's to hoping they keep on trucking.
