***LA Kings vs. Vancouver Canucks GDT 2/26/25 >>7:00pm<< on TNT, max, trutv***

Ok, Kings got a point, which is good considering 1) they were down two in the 3rd period and 2) the Canucks hit two posts (at least) during the game, including one late in the 3rd which resulted in the puck coming within inches of the GWG. However, 1 PP goal wins them this game, presumably, and in the playoffs, that can be the difference in games and series. If this doesn’t change, it will be another short spring, no matter who the Kings play.

the PP will kill us in the playoffs if we make it

How can our PP coach still have a job? And Rittich isn’t exactly winning any games for us…

we have a PP coach?

Congratulations to the following posters who correctly guessed Garland would be credited with the GWG:

*dannybuoy1 guessed garland but also chose 9 shooters, they can take it up with the overlord*

Not sure if we should be upset about the first two periods or impressed by the third. Definitely a stolen point, couldve been 2. The Fiala Q Kempe line has some real mojo to it, how real it is remains to be seen, but they were rocking the puck a lot. According to the shiftchart Kempe and Kopi were once again split in the third period to form the line, don't know if it's a potential answer for other teams super lines in the future but it's a shiny new toy for now.
Get ready for a steady diet of the blues, but first the poor boys have to go do godforsaken Dallas

Still pissed about last night
I was 100% sure we were going to come back and win that game.
The only saving grace was the fact that didn't go down there in person. In November we lost to the Nucks 4-2 the first game I saw this year. The highlight was an awesome goal by QB to start the game, right in front of me.
It was all downhill after that.
The last time I saw the Kings beat Vancouver in person was 2011.
The Kings have to do something about their power play. This is getting ridiculous. We're not going anywhere until we can figure out how to score some goals with a man advantage. We should have won that game in OT last night.

Are we ready to admit the Kings have a Kopitar problem right now? He was less than "ineffective" last night. Sure hope he finds his game/legs again.
Players can overcome many obstacles in their careers, but it's hard to beat Father Time. All we can do at this point is just hope he's in a slump and he snaps out of it. But it seems like he's been a step behind for a few weeks now. It's been almost painful to watch..

My wife says the same thing about me, however, there are days I rise to the occasion.
