It’s as though they have been told not to shoot. Q had to force a save on that break with Foegele right there to find a rebound.
 
Seriously, Kings, you go from playing lights out in the 3rd period last game against Vegas to playing down to the level of your opponent in the Nucks? I don't get this team at times this season. It's as if they wanted to disconnect themselves after their big victory two nights ago.
 
Hiller better start chewing some King-sized ass. We're sloppy and unfocused and worst of all we're getting out worked.
Yeah the king is players can read do you know all the accolades after coming back and scoring four goals and beating Vegas, blah blah blah

How can it be a trap game when the team is within 6 points. And have beaten the Kings already once this year. Vancouver is a good team. Chicago would be a trap game.
 
Another LA penalty. Fiala back to being his bad self as he's called for holding. Kill that damn penalty, Kings, and don't let the Nucks score again.
 
Seeing Kempe’s frustration penalty was too tempting for Fiala. Reminded him of that sweet, sweet release from giving in to being an idiot.

Well, last time they played them, there was some elements of a trap game, but that was when they had Miller in the team. Though Miller's gone now, there is still some trapping seen in this game, even though the Kings are playing lethargically. Tocchet's system might have something to do with it.
 
2nd period ends. Vancouver increases their lead to two while the Kings still have nothing to show for it. LA is back to struggling in the PP and that second goal they allowed was when they were on their first PK. 20 minutes of hockey left and the Kings most definitely need to wake up like they did last game against Vegas.
