Woo hoo! Still best home record. Still Kings of the 3rd period! My man Byfield with 4 pts! Moore with 2 goals, Fiala, Foegele…. That’s what we need, balance scoring baby and an explosive 3rd.

I’m such an enormous Kopitar fan and it’s so painful watching him out there. I’m not ready to put him out to pasture yet especially when you take into account how incredible he looked for the first 30 games but he looks awful now. Two months of having no positive impact on the ice.

Hiller has to cut down his minutes ASAP. The problem is Danault has also been awful this season so we’re stuck with 1 strong Center unless something changes quickly.
 
So happy for Moore! TO really needed a night like tonight. He's been snakebit all season. Sometimes all it takes is one game like this... a huge game ...basically a playoff game ...to turn your entire season around. He worked his butt off tonight, and finally got paid for his effort

You could have said this like every year just about ever. Kopi ALWAYS has gone completely cold in January and February. He's probably slowing down, and maybe age is part of this, but his production has historically dipped at this point of the season.

Though I will say, that's based on perception. His career splits don't entirely tell that story.

It really is hard to watch. The Captain has been a superhero for so long, but his game just isn't there.🙁

With Q playing with confidence and speed, it makes sense to ride that line as long as they are producing. Put Turc on a line with Laffy and Kopi. With Moore awakening, maybe Danault will get back in a good groove. Foegele is a perfect third for those guys. Sure wish the Kings had a real 4C...

1 goal in 19. When he went thru awful streaks in the past (there was even a 1 goal in 40 drought), the rest of his 200-foot game was still there. It's different now.
