Last Movie Watched

If you are in the Los Angeles area, it has come and gone. It floated around the Laemmle theater chain for about 2 months, but as of last week, I couldnt find it anywhere.

I guess I'll have to wait for video :/

Timecrimes & Let the Right One In Hit DVD | Horror Movie, DVD, & Book Reviews, News, Interviews at Dread Central

not the same as seeing it in a theater but I figured I would post it anyway...b.t.w. I hear nothing but good things about Timecrimes too.

Watched Charlie Bartlett last night. Decent flick revolving around high school.

Seven Pounds.

Heavy handed, to say the least.

It made me depressed. It made my laundry depressing. It's depressing.

I bought this last month as a birthday present to myself and it has reignited my fascination with the film.

So far, I watched the film with and without the Cronenberg commentary and I still have to watch it with the James Woods/Deborah Harry commentary track. I also want to get Howard Shore's score.

Have posted this before...but I rewatched this last night...in HD. And, besides being a great movie, it actually made me want to go to Belgium. This flick shoulda been huge, and it probably will be some day...Brendon Gleeson is always great, Ralph Fiennes is good too(and I never liked him), and Colin Farrell makes you forget what a tool he is for a change...beautiful music/scenery, it's bleak as **** with a very ambiguous ending...and it has a midget on horse tranqs...what more could you want?

Finally saw this on dvd the other day. Not bad; I like the fact that it is based on a real incident. Oh, and Monica Belucci.....yummy.

The Wrestler
Not just for pro wrestling fans. Amazing drama with some incredible acting from the entire cast. Mickey Rourke's Randy The Ram is heartbreaking.

this is the greatest French-subtitled kung-fu French revolution werewolf flick I have ever seen...this is an awesome flick...and the lead looks like David Lee Roth in the Pretty Women video...

I've had this at home from Netflix for about 3-4 months or so, finally got around to watching it just now. Holy ****...what a great ****ing movie. Beautifully shot and acted. It's no wonder Ben Affleck sucks as much ass as he does, his brother Casey got ALL the talent in the family. His performance was superb. Great ****ing movie. I don't know what else to say. Loved it.

So, YOU are the reason I'm still waiting for this. ;)

Very underrated noir flick. I got it as part of a four pack including The Setup, Gun Crazy, and Murder My Sweet.
