Yet another New Years eve viewing of RHPS...good times! Thanks Kq, sorry I didn't make it thru Car Wash.

quality on par with that awful Dungeons & Dragons movie... a young-adult aimed flick based on a series of books by Rick Riordan about adventures of the title character, who happens to be a child borne of a human woman and the Greek God Poseidon.

trained, protected and guided by a Centaur (Pierce Brosnan), a Satyr named Grover (that Alpa Chino dude), and the half breed offspring of Athena, Percy's encounters with several legendary Gods like; Steve Coogan, Melina Kanakaredes, Sean Bean, Rosario Dawson and Kevin McKidd, battling with a Minotaur, and taking on the Gorgon Medusa, who happens to look a LOT like Uma Thurman - kept me entertained just enough to not change the channel despite how bad it really was... in the end i think the fact that i was curiously unable to stop watching was in part due to the fact that i had already just sat through a little over half of Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, so it wasn't exactly going to ruin anything.

Book of Eli bore me a bit. some action scenes, the score, Mila Kunis and Gary Oldman are the only reasons I would watch it, but was not into the plot at all.

Book of Eli...you either buy into the plot totally(including the twist) or the movie falls apart. It worked for me so I dig it, but I can get where someone could check out.

Good flick. Not great, but worth watching and enjoyable.

Nick cages acting kills me but this movie had one of the best and realistic endings i have ever seen.

That seen when he walks out of the interrogation room is just too real. It reminds you even the great USA needs the bad guys on our side.

I think this movie's really underrated. I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was really powerful. Tobey Maguire is excellent, and of course Natalie Portman and Jake Gyllenhaal are good.

This trilogy is AMAZING!!! Great dark crime drama that deals with child murder, police corruption, and redemption. Highly recommended, best if you watch all 3 at once.

I would not recommend this film if you are not familiar with Michael Haneke, you'd probably be really confused and not appreciate what an extraordinary gem this film is. 71 Fragments is a narrative about the prevalence of violence in the world and our nominal acceptance. It's a pity that Haneke isn't more widely regarded.

**** you Quentin Tarantino!!! Could you possibly write a ****ing movie where you don't have to inject your goddamn commentary about ****ing movies all the time?

Hans Zimmer's score makes me cry because it sucks so bad.

Btw, Patricia Arquette should not be allowed to show her teeth in anything.

A sequel to "Happiness", which is one of my favorite dark comedies. Nowhere near as funny as that movie, but it still had it's moments.

Not as bad as I'd heard, but not very good, either. Michelle Yeoh was cool in it, though.

What is wrong with you???? Really. You couldn't love this flick based solely on all the great cameo-like vignettes from some badass actors? Gary Oldman? The godammned stand-off between Walken and Hopper(R.I.P.)????? Hell, even Brad Pitt, Michael Rappaport, Cousin Balki???? You are impossible to please. P.A. is definitely a snaggletooth though.
