Last Movie Watched

A sequel to "Happiness", which is one of my favorite dark comedies. Nowhere near as funny as that movie, but it still had it's moments.

Not as bad as I'd heard, but not very good, either. Michelle Yeoh was cool in it, though.

Babylon A.D.'s worst crime is that it is boring. Great production values and a decent cast...wasted.

Indeed. And it hit one of my biggest pet peeves: horrible action sequences with a ton of quick cuts and closeups. You can't tell what the **** is happening 85% of the time.

This is especially annoying when you know the people onscreen are capable of doing choreographed fight sequences.

minus the many interruptions while trying to watch this, i enjoyed it very much. Had a feeling the secret would be what the secret ended up being (don't want to spoil it in case someone else here has not seen this). Will have to watch again without interruptions and then really get the whole feel of it.

What is wrong with you???? Really. You couldn't love this flick based solely on all the great cameo-like vignettes from some badass actors? Gary Oldman? The godammned stand-off between Walken and Hopper(R.I.P.)????? Hell, even Brad Pitt, Michael Rappaport, Cousin Balki???? You are impossible to please. P.A. is definitely a snaggletooth though.

'Nuff said.

I'm not hard to please. I just hate Quentin Tarantino. And Brad Pitt. If I want a ****ing awesome cameo from Cousin Balki, I'll watch Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2.

Sometimes I really question some of the **** that you watch.

Translation = It didn't show that Michelle Yeoh was actually doing her own ass kicking.

That's a big part of it, but not all of it. I'm sure even Vin Diesel is capable of doing some choreographed action sequences. So why not show them off a little?

Like I said, it's a pet peeve of mine.

Dunno, but "Life During Wartime" sounds like a good title.

This ain't no party, this ain't no disco, this ain't no fooling around!

Well, don't watch it unless you've seen Happiness. It'll be impossible to understand. ****, I've seen Happiness a dozen times and I still had some trouble following it, thanks to every character being played by a different actor in this one.

Hey Adge...you gonna be at the game Saturday night? I will try to rememer to bring my uk dvd copy of Dogtooth so you can...'enjoy' it.

I have seen Happiness! But I figgered that "Life During Wartime" made several Talking Head references for peeps like me. ;)

I couldn't resist!

One of my favorite bands ever!
