Last Movie Watched

Watched He Loves Me......He Loves Me Not Sunday morning. Ahhh Audrey Tatou, the cutest little homicidal stalker a guy could ever want!

I saw this, but was pretty drunk so I don't remember most of it. rolleyes:

Have you watch The Spanish Apartment?

Dang, Legion is pretty damn bad. I just watched it for Paul Bettany though. He's HOT.

biggest reason why I have not wasted time on that movie was because of all the bad reviews I kept hearing and reading.
but I almost want to watch it to see why it's so bad.

I love a good bad movie but this one, I'm pretty much tempted to tell you not to bother with it. It's not even good bad.

It's really disappointing because the germ of a decent idea is there...but not the budget.

I agree. Bad ass archangels fighting? Possibly neato but the plot and the delivery, so bad! I was already kinda ehhhhh when I saw Tyrese was in the movie.

Pretty entertaining movie! I felt the cast was well chosen to play their respective parts. I mean, James Caan as a shady lawyer? Luke Wilson being a slimeball involved in the porn industry? Giovanni Ribisi a drug addicted paranoid douchebag? Perfect!

Not only does the movie portray a true story, but it does so in a humorous light. Add to that some beautiful nudity and BINGO, good viewing!

And tonight my roommate's boyfriend comes by and mentions that he recently came across Freshman Orientation, currently available streamed on Netflix. So since I had just finished flipping through Netflix on my PS3, we pulled it up and gave it a look...

Not bad, it was worth the hour and a half or so we spent watching it. It's your typical "coming of age" National Lampoon-style movie dealing with 18-20 year olds hooking up. Yeah, when you've seen one "Dorm Daze" or "Barely Legal" you've seen 'em all, yet we all sat there laughing at Freshman Orientation. Perfect example of the "I probably would never bother renting it, but since it was available for free I'll give it a watch" type of flick.

We watched Centurion last night (while eating our buy one get one free Chipotle). Very entertaining, fun gore and Olga Kurylenko. The fact that Michael Fassbender is mother ****ing hot helps too. :D

If you like watching a guy's head explode because he gets run into a tree, then you gotta check this movie out.

Ok...having had no idea about this going in I could not understand why a movie that had received such good word of mouth had no American release or distribution. Without spoilers, I kind of understand now...it has a delicate ending.

I will say that after about the first hour I was checking the box to make sure that this was indeed a horror movie...and while it is technically, it's more social commentary...yeah it's another one of those 'smart horror' films. If you manage to see this...go in as info free as you can, and stick with it. It's worth it.

Watched this last night too. Really cool. Too smart for a kid's flick. While the majority of these kid-friendly computer animated flicks leave me cold, this one had some clever tweaks on superhero stereotypes. I kept thinking of THE INCREDIBLES while I was watching this and that's not a bad thing at all.

I've watched The Joy Luck Club hundreds of times. It still makes me cry. Damn it.

You are such a nerd. harhar1:

"She thought: better not die next to my babies. Nobody saves babies with such bad luck. Who wants two babies with ghost mother following them? Very bad luck, very."

Heh! More like:

"This dish not salty enough. No flavor. It's too bad to eat. But please...."
"Hey Lindo, all you need to do is put more soy sauce on it."

Lots of the stuff reminds me of the relationship I have with my mom. Although I have never had the experience of bringing home a white boyfriend who ends up ****ing up dinner by pouring soy sauce all over things.
