I hadn't seen this in forever... I liked it when I saw it in the 80's and still do. It's a little dated now but the car chase scene (going the wrong way on the freeway) was still great.

It was on cable last night. I always watch it when it's on.
Moritz Bleibtreu is hot.

Watched the film and special features on the 1st disc of this last night.

Jesus ****ing Christ. It'd been so long since I last saw it. The big, epic battle scene in the middle has got to be one of the most amazing things ever done in film history. Just ****ing... amazing.

Could not even get through 20 minutes of this crap and turned it off.

I finally saw Letters From Iwo Jima. I thought it was much better than Flags, but it still kind of dragged in some parts. Overall I liked it, I thought the main young soldier was really good, don't remember his name. I have now seen all of the nominees for best picture and I think the winner is going to be Little Miss Sunshine.

This movie was really bad, except for Connelly (who is hot). The original was better.

It's the international version of CRASH. Yeah!

How was it? The critics didn't love it, but then again, they LOVED Crash and I HATED Crash.

...

Watched this last night, and it ABSOLUTELY F'N DESTROYED!!!!: :score2:

Done like a movie-version of a comic book, the editing and pacing was hectic at times. Maybe not for every mood, but a GREAT film. Seriously, I laughed (the weed?) and cried (well, actually choked up a few times- the rum?). AWESOME visually, and both hilarious and very touching. Much more so than I was expecting. The girl pictured on the bottom, Anna Tsuchiya, was SO good.

I LOVE THIS FILM. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Will watch again very soon.

(The ganj was WASH. state hydro. And the Rum was "Matusalem Platino". Both ALSO highly recommended!) :good:

OK, I finally saw The Departed.

It was pretty good, but I'm not quite sure I understand the hype. Entertaining, and I enjoyed it to the end, but don't need a copy and never need to see it again.

The Independent Spirit Awards on teh other hand inspired me. Lots there I'd like to see!
