Saw "Premonition" Friday night. I didn't love it, didn't hate it....wouldn't see it again though!

Are you kidding me? The ending for The Departed was nothing but closure.

Oh yeah? Then tell me...what's in the envelope??? That was killing me...I can't stand loose ends...

Frankly, the story was good as were the performances...I liked the unexpected endings, but I felt Damon's was just to 'slam bam thank you mam' to be satisfying...:fedup:

I could go on about the directing...but I like keeping my karma.

I watched a movie called "Stray Cat Rock: Wild Jumbo" last night.

It was alright. Would have been better if Meiko Kaji had a bigger role. Also, having subtitles probably would have helped, too.

i watched this last night with adgy(-san). I was expecting a totally violent movie but it turns out that the violence was fricken hilarious and not as gratuitous. c'mon, someone got his arm shot off, unintentionally. anyway it was very entertaining and i enjoyed it.

i also noticed that a lot of the characters in the movie had this "longing look" at CYF. i think there was definitely some man love for CYF going on in that movie. best part of the night is when i looked over at adgy and excitedly exclaimed "OH!! IS THIS THE CHOW YUN FAT MOVIE WITH THE HOMOEROTICISM?!?"

Pretty good Korean cop/drug movie. At times it seemed like it was struggling with whether to be a comedy or a drama, but never to the extent that it lost itself. Lots of twists towards the end, and none of them really felt forced or lame. Recommended as a rental.

Me too. Haven't seen American Psycho in YEARS. Should check it out again. It was a LOT better than expected.

Way behind posting on my recent viewing. Have to catch up here one of these days. But watched this last night, and had to mention as it was discussed / debated in a recent thread:

I dunno Adgy..... this was one SERIOUSLY slick flick in every sense. Melville rocks. The style, the music, and of course Delon. He was SO ****ING cool. Even "too cool to talk". Friggin LOVE that.

Seriously The Killer is better? CYF's character is cooler??? Really? I may just have to re-do my long-gone netflix. I'm on a binge lately and can't find it--or anything else for that matter--here.

GOD Blockbuster sucks teh chicken balls.
