A new band I just heard of today, it's Doom with some other elements sprinkled in.. Hard to explain, a bit folksy almost. The Candlemass connection is clear to those familiar with them. This track just floored me, best doom I've listened to in years!
 
By being too lazy to drive up to LA on a Thursday night, I missed out on the debacle that was Jake E Lee's vocalist:

That was good. I like how it goes in so many directions. Definite doom guitars and then completely different style for the vocals. Really like the guitar solo going over the doom guitar and then the power singing.
