Bud, I got a long list of what could have been had Hiller been fired then.

Garvikov retained, Spence not traded, Danault and Foegele still happy to be here and contributing, Perry still here…maybe even a proper reaction after Rantanen concussed Kuemper. Gotta wonder about all of it.

But more than anything I think we’d be looking at a better season from Byfield. I get why people are down on him but it’s time he’s prioritized for his game and what it can be, not forcing a kopi replacement that will not happen.
 
It’s fantastic that QB has figured out how to play effective hockey once again.. right in sync with the teams playoff hopes in the throes of a death rattle.
