Oh, yeah, duh....Robin Cook - but the Crichton film adaptation must be why I though it was his. I think that movie would still give me the creeps if I watched it now, and I am not easy to creep out.
Yeah, it was super creepy. I loved it!

I got my copy of Project Hail Mary today...I started blowing through it and then put it down...I want to make this one last. I've been reading so much crap lately...I want to savor this one. And I already have tickets to see the movie again next Tuesday.

Love Gosling, and his character reminds me more of the role he played in The Nice Guys. Kinda goofy, but ultimately sweet and smart. BTW, if you like Ryan Gosling and have never seen The Nice Guys, I highly recommend it. Written and directed by Shane Black, starring Russell Crowe, Angourie Rice, Matt Bomer, Margaret Qualley and Kim Basinger, it's a real hoot.

I LOVED The Nice Guys! That movie didn't get enough love - it was so funny and the period stuff was perfect

The Nice Guys was by far the best movie I saw in 2016. I love the fact we watched it at the Burbank AMC across the street from the Holiday Inn where they filmed the movie.

My favorite part of The Nice Guys happened when my wife and I were driving through Glendale where Glendale Boulevard dead ends at San Fernando Road. We made a left turn towards downtown and there was a bus stop bench advertising The Nice Guys...not the movie...they were advertising the detective agency!

If we weren't late for her dentist appointment, I was going to go back and take a picture of it. It was basically the same advertisement they had on the refrigerator at the end of the movie. How freakin cool is that?
