I feel privileged to have been around to witness Kopi's career.

It's crazy to me that Marcel Dionne (before my time) has lead the Kings in all time scoring despite not having played for the Kings his entire NHL career.

AND it's crazy how Harrold has remained the greatest L.A. King despite not being anywhere near the Kings record in points.

Granted, the times were different, but Dionne (not before my time) got his 1,307 points in 921 games. Kopitar got his 1,308 points in 1,505 games

Had to watch a replay with the horrendous NJ feed. I don’t know if they understood at all that 52 and 53 were two different players??? They at least called Wright for Ward all the time!!!

Was Turcotte hurt, sick or just scratched? If the latter, how is that possible on a team that carries Wright, Ward and Malott??

It is a dilemma for me. The best thing for the franchise is to lose out and get a high lottery pick. But Kopi has been here for my entire fandom and my son's entire life so we want him to go out with a final playoffs.

This team is a far cry from the Cup era teams. There's no way they'd blow leads in the third period regularly like this one does.

Goalies wore about 1/100th the padding back then - *'s in record books are irrelevant IMO. All that matters is the points. Kopi won 2 cups with us - Marcel won 0. Not hating but where do you draw the line with that?
