Roster cutdowns around the world of hockey continued on Tuesday, and this time it was AHL Ontario jumping in on the action.
As Mayor’s Manor reported on Monday, Reign GM Richard Seeley opted to send goaltender Jacob Ingham and forward Bryce Brodzinski to ECHL Greenville. They aren’t the only players on the move, though. Also joining the Swamp Rabbits are:
Forwards: Quinn Olson, Colton Young, Carter Savoie, Arvid Caderoth, Patrick Moynihan, Ben Poisson
Defensemen: Parker Berge, Dru Krebs
Goaltenders: Dryden McKay, Kolby Hay
Greenville is set to play their first preseason game on Wednesday.
Reign Roster Nuggets
Among the handful of LA’s first-year pro prospects staying with the Reign for now are:
Forwards: Aatu Jamsen, Kaleb Lawrence
Defensemen: Angus Booth, Jakub Dvorak
Meanwhile, forward Koehn Ziemmer (third round, 2023 NHL Draft) has been loaned to the WHL.

When all was said and done, this leaves the Reign with a roster of 27 players. Coach Marco Sturm will likely align them something similar to this:
Hudon – Gawdin – Madden
Chromiak – Studnicka – Fagemo
Pinelli – Helenius – Ward
Singleton – Lawrence – Jamsen
Malott – Wise – Doty
Element
Moverare – Walsh
Krygier – Hicketts
Booth – Millar
Dvorak – Rowe
Parker-Jones
Portillo
Copley
Ontario will open the season with a pair of home games vs. San Jose this weekend, beginning at 6pm on Saturday and then rematching Sunday at 3pm Pacific.
Reign Jersey Notes
During the summer, Mayor’s Manor reported there were no plans in place to update Ontario’s jersey template for the 2024-25 season. Word was, they were sticking with the same basic design used in years past, as well as the current logo (although that’s possibly up for discussion in the near future, now that the Kings have gone to something very similar as part of their brand evolution from a few months back).
Even so, there have been a few small tweaks to the Reign jerseys, as highlighted below.
The #Reign kept their uniform template in place but updated their shoulder patches and numbers to reflect the changes to the #LAKings uniforms. x.com
