I feel QB has likely been overcoached a bit. He’s been yanked all over the ice from center to wing to center to wing to offense to shutdown and so forth. I know this sounds like excuses for Byfield, but I say this more to highlight what you said: someone needs to mentor him better.
 
Q needs to learn how to focus his energy and ice vision. So frantic all the time. Slow down and make plays, not more moves.
