More memories and Dancing Boy!!

I’m still going through my storage and I found a box with more Kings memorabilia. It’s fun to look at all the cool stuff I still have. I found the programs from the 2001 playoffs. Reminds me how much I despised Blake then and how much I wanted to beat the Avs. We were so close.

I found this 10 that was on the seats at a game. Staples is when Dancing Boy became a staple during the 3rd period. He started posting here and reffed our LGK hockey games.

I also have poster of the 4 Kings who should have their numbers retired like Brownie!

That 2001 series against the Avs reminds of something clever from Luc in one of the games. There was a play where it was questionable if a Kings shot from the point was in the net or not (it was off the post and no goal). What nobody seemed to notice was that Luc was behind the net and had his stick all the way over the net with his stick blade nearly parallel to the crossbar and angled down slightly. I had never seen anything like it. Even though it didn't work you never know.
 
I miss Dancing Boy!! I remember him arguing with the hated quacker Neil (or Kneel as DB would say)

Does anyone still keep in touch or see him around anymore? Never cared for the guy tbh. That ego was one of a kind.
 
This winter, I'll dig through some old 35mm photos from Frozen Fury 1-3 that I've got stashed in a box up stairs. I've probably got 1000 photos.
