New Scoreboard Coming to Crypto

Let's face it, this arena was designed for the luxury box community. The experience outside of the luxury seating has always been meh. Putting in a new scoreboard is just lipstick on a pig.

My son was a little one when they one the 2014 Cup. He absolutely loved that song. The Kings were doing viral marketing to improve their market share with youth.

I'd have to disagree. Watching the game from a luxury suire is never the best experience in this arena (minus the food and drinks). I much prefer sitting in the 100's. Sofi did the luxury suites right.

This "upgrade" is near laughable when compared to Intuit Dome.

Pretty sure the Crypt supertruss roof design cannot hold the weight of something as cool as Intuit Dome, but they "tried".

Crypt looking really outdated when compared to Intuit.

The concert venue game will be lost to Intuit. Why play Crypto when you can play Intuit.

For all its issues, DTLA location is still superior to Inglewood for a large % of the population. But, yes, this doesnt compare to whats being done at Intuit Dome.
 
Crypto.com Arena (AKA Staples Center) was a late 90s-early 00s arena and it shows in its design. Some say the Forum is better in certain aspects but the Crypto/Staples arena had its charms as well. Well, we both know that Intuit Dome is gonna outshine both of those arenas in modernity and technology but whatever, it still won't have the same feel as that of the Forum or Crypto/Staples. Maybe I'm biased on older arenas that weren't too dependent on technology or luxury suites but yeah, sometimes nostalgia can be a powerful thing.

We sit in 309, have zero issues with our seats. This screen, at 4K, will be a significant improvement for everyone in attendance.

I get it, I just like to be close to the ice mainly to bring back the feeling of playing (smell, moisture in the air, etc). I witnessed the new screen at a recent Sparks game and it definitely is an improvement but to be honest, I really couldn't care one way or another as I like to spend as little time as possible looking at the screen while at a game (with the exception of replays).

Because it was to the tune of "You are my Sunshine".
