And actually, I like those unis despite the lack of gold. Even though they mimicked the colors of a certain basketball team in our state's capital that time, these threads look better than anything the b-ball team ever came up with. I'm in the minority here but I actually want these unis to be brought back. The only thing that bothers me is that loud "Los Angeles" font at the bottom of the uni. Remove that and it will look even better.

That era 3rds were . Ive got 4. My pride and joy is my Deader 3rd with the AM and ASG patches.

I don't think that works. The 2020/1 Reverse Retro sold out before I could get one that season, and the Kings simply moved on to the new RR the following year. They clearly didn't care to capitalize on a good thing.

I'm still annoyed I wasn't able to get one of these...

I love that people hate the black so much. It's hilarious to me. That's how I felt that whole era of this:

I understand your dislike of this jersey. In black, the various elements seem disconnected and look too big. Eliminating the silver stripe around the bottom and continuing the black behind "LOS ANGELES" would have been a cleaner look. But the white jersey from that era was a beautiful sweater, and I believe it won design awards.

Just as long as they don’t create something that attempts to pay homage to the original shield logo while simultaneously reflecting the defensive structure around the net, I don’t know, call it home plate. And imagine they put a little crown in it it that’s hard to see. That would result in something much less a logo then it would an awkward-looking geometric shape with forgettable detailing. I just don’t want that to happen.

They’d probably end up using the outline of that “logo” on the jumbotron to show replays inside of it, which would only remind everyone what a horribly weak jersey the team is wearing. Just don’t let them do something like that.

There are lots of talented kids at FIDM who would be happy to help. Call them up!

I wish they would make that jersey the permanent road jersey. Best looking white design ever!
