Congrats to USA! Mixed feelings. Prefer Canada over USA when it comes to how the nation acts on global political stage in recent years, but prefer USA when it comes to hockey...Canadians are way too cocky. And considering this was a hockey battle, yay for USA! Happy for you guys.

Clearly NHL conditioned that with giving the green light for pausing NHL for Olympics so that North American teams have advantage (more skill and speed; that's also why hockey was played for the first time ever on NHL dimensions ice AFAIK) and also to avoid tiring of the NHL players too much...and with that also comes less risk for injuries.

I won't argue with your . . . argument. That IS hockey. But that doesn't change the fact that for me personally, I love 3-on-3.

Just a terrific game !!! However, I am very disappointed in myself. I found myself pulling for the team with fewer players that I despise on their roster. Team Canada: 7 d-bags. Team USA: 2 d-bags. (But that did not keep me from enjoying the hell out of the unreal performance of Conner Hellebuyck.)
