I feel like this is a game we all thought the Kings were going to win, and that we have to resign ourselves to the fact that they're going to lose. It happens. The effort has been fine, but just not bouncing their way tonight. Shame since they're wasting a great effort from Cam.

2nd period is over. Things really have picked up for both teams. Byfield briefly tied it but then Tkachuk gets the lead back 15 seconds after LA scored. Kings on the receiving end of penalties in this game. LA has to really kick it up in the 3rd and stop playing sloppy as well as not taking penalties at the worst possible times.

He has had good effort along the boards today. Not afraid of contact, which is great to see. That being said, nothing close to going on net. Though, he is not the only player in that boat tonight. With the Fagemo recall, I kind of thought he might get in tonight over Kaliyev.
