I’m interested to see which lines match up with the Connor & Leon lines. Because if we’ve get 2 that can at least keep up with them, then we still have a 3rd that can go off. And if they try putting those 2 together, the better it is for us. Last year 5 on 5 we were even. This year we should be better.

With special teams, everyone says stay out of the box. I think that’s impossible. Yes, don’t take dumb unnecessary penalties. But with all the emotions, penalties are going to happen. They have to kill them, that’s it. And what they don’t kill, they have to make up by scoring on the PP. And we’re not great, but we’re better now than earlier in the year.

The last thing, which may or may not apply to this game. In all the previous series when the Kings had early success, the Oilers made adjustments to counter that but the Kings didn’t. The Kings need to make adjustments when things go wrong. I hope Hiller & his staff can do that. Anyway, really pumped for this game. I hope they blow the roof off of the Crypt. And go on to win in 5.

My other thing, I know Connor & Leon are 2 of the best players. The Kings should respect them. But they can’t fear them. They can’t give them space. Keep it tight against them & rough them up any chance they get.

I don't think anything can top how I felt in 2014 in game 7 against Chicago. I think that was my number 1 nail destroyer as a Kings fan.

I think most of our anxiety right now comes out of those last 3 playoff round losses and wanting to see the boys come out strong from the get go and hang with the oil in the first round. My gut says we are going to be fine. Different team this year and we will not be denied...lol.

That's a good way to describe it. I want to feel like this team is different and hope that they'll set the tone early to send a message. But there's also the thing where I'm a pessimist and I am fully prepared for the same ol **** from our Kings. So I don't know how to feel lol
