And now the Oilers take a 3-2 series lead thanks to Hiller once again turning into an even dumber version of TMac. Kuemper's effort was wasted on the Kings' failure to score at critical situations in the game and not letting the 4L get significant enough ice time. There's the first loss at home in this series for LA.

The Coilers had no business winning Games 3 and 4 if not for Hiller's inexcusably stupid decisions to manage his lines. And now his team dropped tonight's game with a lackluster effort at home with only Kuemper playing his damnedest tonight. This is inexcusably pathetic coaching here by Hiller.

I have never been as disgusted with a Kings team as I am with this one.
I've seen plenty of terrible Kings squads, but they generally at least had some fight in them. They would fall behind and battle back, not take leads and lay down like this bunch.
The way I feel right now, I almost hope the Oilers end the agony in game 6, and then the housecleaning begins.

eh same problem as last 3 years. Built to get to the playoffs and lose to the Oilers. No size, grit, or heart. People saying top 3 lines are gassed well it's been 48 hours and we almost got outshot by triple. Emotional midget team led with no leadership and nobody with that playoff spark. That's all the org cares about so good job on them. Can't wait for Hiller, Blake, Kopi, and Doughty to be gone.
They will parrot the same thing. "Hey, we made the playoffs. We were right there!"
