So after this postseason, LA not only has to draft more power forwards, they also need to draft D-men who can not only replace DD but complement Clarke and the other blue liners. Our D has been exposed this series as well. I've said it before, but Blake waiving away Englund to eventually be picked up by Nashville is really starting to haunt him and the Kings.

I think Doughty’s actually gotten better as the series has gone on but he’s not close to 100% and he’s 35 with a ton of mileage on him. The next leader of the d corps needs to be a bit more mobile.

I think Clarke is absolutely the future of the D corps but he’s got a long way to go in terms of NHL level defense. The offensive upside is definitely there.
