***Preseason Game 4 GDT Kings @ Ducks 9/30/24 7:00pm on NHL Network & BSW***

What a fantastic line goal. Jeannot forecheck, pass to Danault, pass to rushing Thomas who gets there before the goalie does.

Love seeing all the GIANT young Kings out there. Best part is Helenius and Lee aren’t just big. They can actually play a bit. A far cry from the days of Kings icing 6’ 8” Steve McKenna for 8 shifts a night where he’s taking a bad penalty and starting a fight with two of those shifts.

Birdman must be in a state of reverie!

Getting good feelings about the Jeannot acquisition. He brings what the Kings have needed in so many ways. Credit to Blake for seeing a good fit.
was skeptical when it happened. we're all forever damaged from the PDL trade and contract

Damn just downloaded Victory + app for free ducks games all season on my apple TV. Just got rid of dish network after 20 years. Kings need their own app(NOT Bally) for free games all season would be nice. But nice to see games on local kcop. Getting used to the old rabbit ear antenna on my 65' in tv!
I just downloaded it myself with the hope it works here in Japan but alas it seems to be region-limited.

Watching the big line in action was my favorite part of the night - just a lot of fun to watch them use their bodies efficiently and they seemed in sync with one another. I hope they keep getting better as they would make an excellent 4th line down the road (biggest question mark is speed).

Only saw the highlights. While the Kings looked mighty good... we need to keep expectations in check for now because this Ducks team is absolutely terrible.
This is true. Another note, Cozens is a different story but I am actually feeling good Blake drafted Turcotte over Zegras after all. Dude coasted last season and if last night is any indication, he’s ready to do so again this year.

Turc has looked like a solid NHL-er so far this season. His body has finally overcome the years of being plagued by injuries. He has always the potential to be a Justin Williams type of player. Hope this is going to be his breakout year.

Moverare is being waived today per the Mayor. Caleb Jones will likely be on the roster at least through the games in Quebec City.

He shows great aptitude for knowing where to be on the ice. His first few games up two seasons ago he looked lost at times, probably rookie nerves. He’s one of a few reasons I’m excited about the season. Give me any player with heart and will this year.
