The long-rumored Kings third jersey we’ve talked about for over a year should be revealed soon and we now have some additional information to pass along.
According to several sources, the Kings will be wearing this new third jersey at home on Saturday nights. Not only will it become a Saturday Special, the team has also pre-arranged to wear it twice on the road. One of those road games will be January 17 in Anaheim. There’s even been some speculation this could potentially morph into a color rush game, where the Kings where their new third jersey vs. the Ducks orange home uniform kit. Of course, this would need to be pre-approved by the league. The game date is locked in at Honda Center, what Anaheim will be wearing that night is still being worked out.
So… What other road game will the Kings wear their new third jersey? That remains a closely guarded secret for now.
