Wooley’s d partner. That’s a nice story. Will check back in on both of them in 3 years or so.

He plays on the 2nd pairing and only saw PP time at the beginning of the season when their PP1 guy was out.

He'll be seeing much more first pairing, PP1 time next season. The organization (Knights...) is high on him.

Interesting. A safe, no-bling pick.

Maybe he's in the Brock Faber mold, though it's difficult to compare CHL and NCAA. The fact that he's Wooley's D partner probably means they followed him quite closely for at least a year.

I guess they must be high on him, and if that's the case it was a very good move to trade down. I really dislike this team not having any 2nd rounders, though the one they got is a late one...

He's got some serious puck moving skills and his skating seems to be NHL level.

I think he's going to get more opportunity next year with London. So he has the chance to go from a pretty good to a great prospect. We'll see. And I think we'll call him either Brewie, Brewer or Brews.

I vote for Zusty. Or maybe even Zesty if he's good enough.

Agreed. I don't get geeked out over prospects any more but this seems like a smart pick. The kid seems to have the tools and Hunter will get the best out of kids.

Good listen on our newest 1st round pick.

Very interesting to hear Yannetti’s thoughts on the player. Sounds like he sees his likely ceiling as a 1st pairing D-man. That’s excellent value at #31 overall.

Nice.... I have to point out though....... On the Kings a first pairing defensemen are the likes of Anderson, Forbert, McNabb. The bar is not all that high. Serviceable NHL'rs for sure though.
