For reference, the typical pressure you are subjected to in air at sea level is 14.6 lb/in[SUP]2[/SUP]. Fellow SCUBA divers will know this, but for every 10m (~33ft) you descend in the ocean, that is another atmosphere's worth of pressure (at 10m underwater, you are experiencing 29.2 lb/in[SUP]2[/SUP], at 20m, it's 43.8 lb/in[SUP]2[/SUP], etc).

This guy is living at roughly 7,060 lb/in[SUP]2[/SUP].

Probably shoulda named him Bathystylodactylus cf. freddiebowie
