GDT ***Seattle Kraken vs. Los Angeles Kings GDT 12/23/25 7:00pm on FanDuel***

Is he fired yet?
I have heard that Toronto is looking for Berubi replacement and Deboer is their 1st option
And I am afraid that it will happen soon enough

He didn't put together this crap roster.

People complain about him not playing Helenius but Sami isn't a NHL player. The defense is big and slow. Ceci left a guy uncovered just outside the crease for Seattle's first goal. Byfield has amazing qualities but isn't a NHL first liner. Physically gifted but lacks the sense of a Kopi or Beegeron that so many here thought he'd be. And his faceoff percentage is awful. Doughty finally got old and was never replaced though the draft. The one guy who did fill Doughty's number one role last year was allowed to walk in free agency.

The Kings are where they are due to C grade performance by Blake and a F from Holland. Changing the coach isn't going to magically create a top end talent.

But it's easier to fire the coach than the roster so get the pitchforks and torches.
I'd play Q every shift for the rest of the game. He's young and it's close to statistically impossible for your #1 draft pick and 1C next year not to have scored in 16 games. He's due

THANK YOU! Finally someone gets it. Hiller isn’t great, but he’s got nothing to work with.

Pretending Byfield was ready for number one, even 2 for that matter, was pure propaganda. He needs time, like Kempe.

Trade/release all vets not willing to lose while helping the kids develop. Then build a team for the future with an actual plan and direction. Really hoping Kopi’s departure will finally get us to this point.

What kids? Greentree, Woolley and Brzustewicz are the whole pipeline.

The solution can't be play half your roster twice as much. There's no way Turc or Helenius get any better by being in games and hardly playing. Plus, then you sap the energy of your 1 and 2 C reducing their performance. Like it or not, this is the roster. There's a reason there's four lines. Turc is playing with jump, and is second to last with TOI. That's bad player management, and that's on the coach.
