They have 2 goalies who is 24 and 21 and potentially better .

Nor did Pittsburgh, except to dump Jarry’s salary. Skinner’s contract is up at the end of the season. I doubt they’ll re-sign him, but who knows.

They sold high on Jarry and Skinner will likely play better with PIT. If they're not so good anymore come deadline time they can trade both him and Kulak bringing the pick haul to 3 picks in the 2-4th round region, which is pretty good value for a solid but unspectacular goalie.

They could try and do some damage in playoffs, they could extend both cheaply for a year since both are low-value right now. Good move by PIT.

I have no idea what EDM are doing though. Wasn't Kulak one of the few defensively sound players and a gritty playoff guy for them? Who replaces him?

Desperation and Connor is getting restless. I look forward to Jarry letting them down quickly. He’s entering the most high pressure situation for a goalie in the league. And he’s not him.
